I've been typing since I was 7, so i really worked on fundamentals and then that automatically translated to speed. I will say though my accuracy sucks so def higher accuracy is higher speed. for your level, honestly just repetition is the best practice. and technique matters a lot in regards to fingers on the right keys. i never really had a plateau per say but i have had bad days, they go away eventually though.

How to reach 200 wpm?
For those who have reached 200+ wpm, what specifically helped you get there? I currently type around 120-140 wpm (occasionally 150), and I've been practicing regularly and working on fixing bad habits, but I feel like I'm plateauing. A few things I’m curious about: - Did you focus more on accuracy first or raw speed? - What kind of practice did you do (repeated texts, weak-key drills, etc.)? - How much did technique matter (finger placement, minimizing movement, etc.)? - If you had a plateau, how did you break it? Any specific drills, tools, or habits that made a big difference would be really helpful. Thank you!
