just be zen

Here are some things that help me make fewer mistakes: • Actively relaxing the body When my fingers and arms are tense, I end up making the most mistakes. Whenever I notice myself tensing up, I try to consciously relax my hands and arms, which helps me fumble less. • Don't try typing too fast I try typing just a tad bit slower than my usual fast pace. I found that trying to type as fast as possible decreases my accuracy because it's like trying to run too fast. And when you run too fast, you nearly trip sometimes. • Practice making as little mistakes as possible When I want an increase in speed or notice my performance is dropping, I train on Monkeytype using Expert mode or setting a minimum accuracy or speed so that the test automatically fails if I fall below that threshold. I work on correcting bad typing habits so that I consistently press the right keys instead of frequently making the same mistakes. I hope this helps!
