Try to focus on accuracy. Instead of speed for now, then gradually pick up the speed. Most people forget this part so just focus on that for now. Good lucK!
I'll try to!! :->
yo bro if ur at 55 just type more like a lot use monkeytype or keybr daily like 30 mins focus on not looking at the keyboard ever start slow and clean dont rush accuracy first speed comes after learn all finger positions properly no cheating dont stress too much keep it chill track ur progress weekly not daily one day ull hit 115 and wont even notice keep going u got this
thx!!
dunno what you mean by 115 wpm, but if you mean max burst speed, then you have to train in quick succession. Do 10 word tests on monkeytype while forcing your fingers to go as fast as they can. Once you start losing concentration, then stop for a little bit and regain focus. Start again while going as fast as you can, caring less about accuracy. HOWEVER, if you mean 115 average, then you must train endurance alongside burst speed. Burst speed will allow you to increase your max threshold. If you're want to train on this site, you can use easy quotes to train burst and medium/hard to train endurance. Also these might seem like a very beginner tip but as Fat Monkey said, check your hand position. Make sure you're using some sort of standardized position like 10 fingers minus a thumb or minus both pinkies (as long as it's not hunt-and-peck). Keep the same position and keyboard layout to build strong muscle memory. Also don't look at the keys so your muscles remember movement between keys. Anyway, take this lightly (both figuratively and literally) and don't train too hard or else you aren't training your muscles properly. You can alternate days for endurance and burst speed in order to build correct technique and build good strength. Don't take this too seriously from me cuz I'm no expert (i'm barely passing 105 on average)
