I've been using my laptop keyboard for a while now, though I only got mine around 6 months ago. Personally, it does have an impact on typing speeds and accuracy since it's quite challenging to adapt to a new keyboard, especially that laptop keyboards are lower than what I was accustomed to. But as far as I know, you could get a significantly higher average WPM on laptop but of course it still depends on personal preferences.

Which keyboards do you use?
I'm currently using the one on my Lenovo laptop. Do they make a huge impact on your typing speeds? If so, which ones do you like to use?

I've only ever been using my laptop keyboards to type, and I think I have managed to type fairly well, and it always feels weird when I use keyboards that aren't flat like the mechanical ones because I have to press deeper and I can't roll and glide as fast as I usually do. BUT I do think that your typing speed really does just matter more on what you're used to or prefer. :D so try things and see what suits you best fellow laptop typer
