Not really. Long practice is part of the process. Some things to focus on are improving your accuracy, equipment, and environment, just to name a few.

Yes there is! And it's so easy. Just use hacks, typing bots....
Yes and I'll tell you how, but first I'll say that a long typing session has advantages of it's own (unless you're habituating mistakes during that long session). If you're not going to train for long sessions, then focus on differing the types of typing you perform. This website offers short to long quotes, and competitive or non/self competitive options. You'll need other websites, I recommend keybr.com because it learns from your mistakes the more you use it, and speedtypingonline.com for it's customization options on what you type (full sentences from different kinds of sources, random words of different difficulties, data entry for practice with numbers and symbols). Practice 2-3 times a day in short sessions, changing what kind of typing you do each time. If you can add in an occasional long session, it would of course help. (side note about focusing on accuracy: it's not just because making mistakes takes time to correct, it's also because everything we do trains the body/brain to do what we did, even if what we did was a mistake. Habits competing against each other.. just a part of how memory works.)
