Yes, I don't even use the proper fingering- and I hold the record for second fastest typer

i don't use it either. To be honest, even pro typists like Nothisisjohn and typos_z don't use homerow. They have their own typing style. They use 10 fingers, but not the home row.

I confirm that this is true. Our fingers are not designed for homerow.

Your middle three fingers are longer than the rest, so they should rest on the upper side of the keyboard. Instead of ASDF JKL, I mostly conform to ASER NIO for my initial finger placements.

It is, but I personally use put my fingers in the home row.

I'd say as long as you can use as many of your fingers as possible you're good. I use the Gamer hand placement - as in I have my left hand hovering wasd and my right hand kinda does whatever else it can on the far right side.

i used to do after a yea but once you use the normal way to do typing you can get way fast
