i only use two fingers on the right hand i could probably be a lot faster if i learned how to actually type

What's your toxic typing trait?
Most of us have one big habit or challenge that limits our typing speed or makes it difficult to get a better accuracy rate. Mine is (being a writer/editor professionally) absentmindedly making corrections to the text while typing. Adding a preposition where there should be one, removing an unnecessary punctuation mark, and overall just trying to make more sense out of the text in my head rather than just typing hahaha. What's yours? :)

me too EXACTLY but only I use 2 fingers on the left hand (if you don't include the thumb) and 1 on the right hand, really suboptimal way of typing.
Your WPM is really impressive with only two fingers on the right haha! I used to type completely pinkyless until I was forced to take a typing course in school and got my typing speed up out of spite.
mine is when writing, I often press 2 keys simultaneously which gives wrong word, and that's the reason for my low accuracy. When I don't do that my accuracy goes up to 98%..
So true! It's so frustrating that a single wrong letter can affect accuracy and speed so much!
uhh i'd say the way i type i just use my middle fingers and thumbs
OMG how are your hands not tired all the time?
same
using left hand home row but only using my index and thumb for right hand
You must have really good hit accuracy on your right hand!
i type with one finger on both hands so i could be like 150 wpm if i learned how to use 3 or 4
If i could stop looking at the keyboard i'll be faster
Overreaching on certain words, and "auto-completing" words. Like for example, if I type the word "the", I automatically type "re" at the end, I type "there", which is wrong.
