I do like the new UI, but is it just me or are the bots in multiplayer pretty much impossible to beat? They always type ~20 wpm faster than my average wpm, which is pretty much impossible for me to consistently do on medium or hard texts.

I've rebuilt Typer from scratch
Hello, I've rebuilt the entire site from scratch, bringing a new design and significantly better performance in all aspects. Along with the rebuild, I've also introduced key-by-key replay of the entire race and more in-depth match statistics. Along with that, I've introduced new user stats for you to improve on, including identifying your weak keys; key combinations that you're slow at pressing sequentially. Lobbies can now reach up to 100 players, and it's actually stable. I've created rigorous benchmarks that allow me to test large scale lobbies, and re-designed the internals to make it scale better. There are various other minor improvements as well that you may find. Let me know what you think, Jaden

Hey, glad you like it. The AI players are more adaptive to your skill level, which should give you a greater challenge. They may be too adaptive though, i'll take a closer look.
YES!!! new Update FINALLY!! LOL. Ok basically have little to no advice except for in the private lobby for when you enter "new game" that isn't there anymore prob the only thing I would add back and the pfp into the website too when you get to it. Absolutely love it and thx U! also it looks fresh! :)
Hey, I have a few suggestions/feedback: 1. High-score/results section: I think it would be much better if the high-score section for each quote stayed at a fixed size and we could simply scroll through the results inside the box. Right now, clicking the down arrow makes the entire box stretch and get much bigger, which pushes the chat input way down and forces us to scroll a lot just to get back to where we type. Keeping the box the same size and allowing internal scrolling would make it much more convenient. 2. Ctrl + Enter shortcut: There used to be a shortcut where we could press Ctrl + Enter to skip the current text or quit the current race and move on to the next one. Now, it doesn’t work until you finish the test, which is annoying if you don’t want to finish, accidentally missed the text, or just want to start a new one. It would be great if Ctrl + Enter could work again to skip/quit the current test and move to the next one. 3. Chat box in recorded results: I don’t think there’s any need to include the chat box in the recorded results. When a score is recorded and stays available for 24 hours, the recording also captures everything that was typed in the chat box. This means anything someone said in the chat is saved alongside their score and can be viewed by everyone for the next 24 hours. I think the recording should only include the actual test/result, not the chat box. 4. Unverified users on the leaderboard: I also think unverified users should have a limit on the scores that can appear on the leaderboard, like the old 150 WPM limit. Right now, people can participate without even creating an account and use different names, which makes it easier to mess with the leaderboard. Limiting the scores of unverified users would help keep the leaderboard more accurate and reliable. 5. Cheater results: It would also be great if there were a way to remove confirmed cheaters’ results from the leaderboard. It’s pretty annoying to see obviously illegitimate scores staying there and affecting the rankings. If a score is confirmed to be from a cheater, it should be removed from the leaderboard. It would be especially useful to remove the cheater’s highest result for each individual quote, so their illegitimate scores don’t remain at the top of the results for that quote. Countdown timer: The countdown seems to have one actual extra second. For example, if the countdown is supposed to be 10 seconds, we actually have to wait 11 seconds before it starts. This also happens in private lobbies. If you set the interval between quotes to the minimum 1 second, there’s actually a 2-second delay between them. It never really gives you a 1-second interval—the countdown starts from 2 seconds even though you selected 1 second. So there seems to be a consistent extra second added to the countdown/interval.
