Looking at the screen or keyboard? It’s better to look at the screen because typing should rely primarily on muscle memory. Looking at the screen helps you catch errors immediately and maintain flow, while looking at the keyboard can slow you down. It's okay to glance at the keyboard when learning to touch type, but once you know proper finger placement, you should practice not looking down. When it comes to speed and accuracy, muscle memory is what drives typing.

What he said. If you gotta look at your keys while you're typing you're not doing your wpm any favours. You should spend some time memorizing where each key is on your board by finger placement alone a la home row touch typing.
I agree
i would guess the keyboard
I think its a mix of both when its a really hard key like X or C or any punctation you want to look at the keyboard if you are doing homerow than you porbally should look the screen
